Warblue Review: Are These Blue Light Glasses for Focus and Sleep Worth It?

By Ashley Isham Updated October 20, 2026 · 4 min read · 3 views

Short Warblue review: Warblue makes four non-prescription blue light glasses, one per time of day: clear Edison for color-accurate screen work, yellow Galileo for everyday comfort, orange Newton for long screen sessions and red Da Vinci for the 1 to 2 hours before bed. Each pair is $89, but the store’s Buy 1 Get 1 Free and 3+ pairs 50% off deals bring it to about $43 to $45 per pair. They are worth a look if you want an evening red lens for winding down; if your main goal is less eye strain, read the evidence section first. Warblue does not offer prescription lenses yet.

Warblue lineup: which lens does what

Figures below are as stated by Warblue on its product pages, which link to lens test reports.

Model Lens Blue light blocked When to wear
Edison Clear Not stated as a %; marketed for no color distortion Daytime work, gaming, photo and video editing
Galileo Yellow About 84% (88.5% light transmission) Long daytime screen use
Newton Orange Up to 97% (filters about 62% of visible light) Heavy screen sessions, evenings
Da Vinci Red 99.14% (filters 73.94% of visible light) 1 to 2 hours before sleep

The darker the lens, the more blue light it blocks and the more it changes how colors look. That is why Warblue pairs a clear lens for daytime with darker lenses for the evening. Our lens color guide goes deeper.

Warblue Complete Bundle with clear, yellow, orange and red blue light glasses

Bundles: real price per pair

Option Price Per pair
1 pair $89 $89
2-pair bundle (e.g. Day & Night) $89 $44.50
3-pair bundle $129 $43
Complete Bundle, all 4 $179 $44.75

Prices and deals as shown on thewarblue.com on the day we checked (listed as an “Early Black Friday” offer, so they may change). Since one pair costs the same as two, a single pair rarely makes sense.

Warblue review: what buyers say

Warblue’s site shows a rating of 4.7/5 from 30,000+ reviews. On Trustpilot, which had only 11 reviews when we checked, the score was 3.7/5: positive reviews mention comfort and quality, while negative ones mention slow shipping, wrong colors sent and slow refunds. The brand is based in Spain and ships worldwide, with delivery quoted at 2 to 10 business days.

Warblue Da Vinci red lens sleep glasses

Do they work?

Independent research is mixed. A 2023 Cochrane review of 17 trials found blue-light filtering lenses probably make no difference to eye strain from computer use. For sleep, small trials of amber lenses worn before bed have shown benefits, such as about 30 minutes more sleep in a 2018 Columbia study of 14 people with insomnia. Full breakdown in do blue light glasses work, and evening use in blue light glasses for sleep.

Who should buy which

  • Night owls and late screen users: Da Vinci (red), or Day & Night bundle.
  • Gamers and designers: Edison (clear) to keep colors accurate. See blue light glasses for gaming.
  • Office workers: Galileo or Newton.
  • Need prescription lenses: Warblue is not an option yet.

FAQ

Is Warblue legit?

It is an operating store with clear return and warranty terms, but its small Trustpilot profile shows some shipping and refund complaints, so keep your order confirmation and tracking.

Can I return Warblue glasses?

Yes, within 30 calendar days of delivery if the hygiene seal is intact.

Does Warblue have a discount code?

We do not have a code; the best savings are the store’s own 2-for-1 and 3+ pairs 50% off bundles.

Bottom line

Our Warblue review verdict: Warblue is easiest to justify as a bundle, especially the red Da Vinci for evenings; set expectations using the research, not the marketing.
