Yes, there is a working Prospectors Dream discount code: TOBITHASILENGO takes $5 off your entire order, and our link applies it automatically. Every order also comes with a free year of The Dyrt PRO camping app, and the Factory 2nds clearance section can cut the price of a genuine Dream Mat roughly in half. We checked every deal on prospectorsdream.com on October 3, 2026, so here is exactly how to pay the least for Prospectors Dream gear.
Dream Mats have become the go-to upgrade for anyone chasing fine gold, and once you see how much less you pan out at the end of the day, you will want one in every box you own. The good news: with a little planning, that habit does not have to get expensive.

Factory 2nds: genuine Dream Mats for about half price
Factory 2nds are the biggest saving at Prospectors Dream: the same urethane Dream Mats with small cosmetic flaws, sold for roughly 35% to 55% less than new. The brand describes them as mats with cosmetic flaws or a width that runs a tad narrow or wide; some may need a light trim to fit and colors can vary, but none of it affects gold recovery.
These are the Factory 2nds that were in stock on October 3, 2026, next to the price of the same item new:
| Item | Factory 2nd | New | You save |
|---|---|---|---|
| 6×16 Micro Dream Mat | $18.00 | $36.95 | $18.95 (51%) |
| 4×16 Adventure Sluice Box, Micro/Mini Dredge | $19.95 | $36.99 | $17.04 (46%) |
| Cape-D Mat for Gold Cube | $25.00 | $49.95 | $24.95 (50%) |
| Micro Mat for Gold Cube | $26.50 | $49.95 | $23.45 (47%) |
| Clean-Up Buddy 12V Kit (Micro-Dredge) | $59.00 | $89.00 | $30.00 (34%) |
| 12×24 Mini Dream Mat (Bigfoot) | $65.00 | $104.95 | $39.95 (38%) |
| 10×36 Vortex Dream Mat | $67.00 | $143.95 | $76.95 (53%) |
Two quick tips. First, stock moves fast: most of the Factory 2nds listings were sold out on the day we checked, so grab the size you need when it appears. Second, 2nds are sold as-is with no returns, so they suit buyers who already know which profile they want. The 10×36 Vortex is a standout here, since the brand says any of its 10×36 mats fit a Keene A52 box.
Real cart examples with the $5 code
The $5 code makes the biggest difference on small orders and stacks nicely with Factory 2nds and sale items. Here is what real carts cost today:
| Cart | Before code | With TOBITHASILENGO |
|---|---|---|
| Budget upgrade: Factory 2nd 6×16 Micro mat + Micro Pocket Sluice | $27.00 | $22.00 (vs $45.95 for both new at full price) |
| Beginner kit: Adventure Sluice Box Gold Pan Kit | $49.00 | $44.00 + free Dyrt PRO year |
| Gold Cube pair: Factory 2nd Micro + Cape-D Gold Cube mats | $51.50 | $46.50 (vs $99.90 new) |
| A52 retrofit: Factory 2nd 10×36 Vortex mat | $67.00 | $62.00 (vs $143.95 new) |
| Backpack sluice: 6×24 Trek Sluice Box (Combo) + Mini Pocket Sluice | $108.00 | $103.00 |
Prices checked on prospectorsdream.com on October 3, 2026. The pattern is simple: use the code on every order, and if a Factory 2nd exists in your size, that is where the big money is saved.
Free year of The Dyrt PRO with every order
Every Prospectors Dream order currently includes a full year of The Dyrt PRO, normally $59.99, at no cost. That means even a $9 pocket sluice comes with offline campground maps, free camping land layers, an RV trip planner and discounts at more than 1,000 campgrounds. It is applied automatically, works alongside the $5 code, and your PRO code lands in your inbox after checkout. For prospectors who camp near their claims, this perk alone can be worth more than the gear.
Military and first responder discount
Prospectors Dream offers an exclusive discount for military members, veterans and first responders, verified through GovX ID. Look for “Military & First Responders” in the site menu, and verify through GovX ID to unlock the offer. If you qualify, compare it with the $5 code at checkout and use whichever gives you more.
Shipping and returns: what to know before you buy
Orders placed before 2:00 pm MST usually ship within two business days, and Prospectors Dream ships to all 50 states and around the world. International orders typically go by UPS and take two to three weeks to most markets; duties and broker fees are paid on delivery.
Dream Mats are backed by a 100% satisfaction guarantee: if you are not completely happy with your mat, you can return it within 30 days for a refund or replacement. Standard returns carry a 15% restocking fee and the buyer pays return shipping, while Factory 2nds and clearance items are final sale. Tip: pick your profile carefully the first time with our full Prospectors Dream review, and you will never need a return.
What to buy with your Prospectors Dream code
The smartest first buy is a complete sluice with a mat already fitted. Beginners do well with the Adventure Sluice Box Gold Pan Kit ($49), which bundles the sluice, a pan, a scoop and a snuffer bottle. Ready to move more dirt? The 6×24 Trek Sluice Box with a Combo mat ($99) is the brand’s own next step, and the 8×35 Bigfoot box ($147.50 with a Micro mat) is its “front row gold” favorite. Already own a sluice? Drop in a Factory 2nd mat and you get the Dream Mat’s vortex cells for the price of a tank of gas.
